In October of 2007 Nausil Zaheer opened up one of the first organic spas in New Jersey called Karma Organic Spa. Special detail was taken into account when creating this store using such materials as carbonized bamboo flooring and not-toxic paint. The furniture is made of recycled materials, including the pedicure bowls and towels. To add to the completely organic and non-toxic environment Karma incorporates fresh flowers, herbs, and fruits into their services. They also have their own line of hand and foot lotion, exfoliating scrub and essential oils in addition to the organic non-toxic nail polishes and nail polish removers which are free of toluene, formaldehyde, & phthalate (DBP). Sandals are made of disposable and biodegradable material and the technicians use freshly sterilized and individually packaged utensils. Safely indulge yourself through their use of individualized bowls, which are thoroughly sterilized with green cleansers, in between each guest. Each time you visit thespa their technicians bring freshly sterilized and individually packaged utensils to your station, therefore, both their products and store are safe for little princesses & expectant mothers..
